SANTA ANA, Calif. –– ProMedia Events has
announced the 2007 schedule for the NMCA-Edelbrock Drag Racing
Series. This year’s tour will make stops at familiar venues
across the country kicking off April 13-17th at Bradenton
Motorsports Park, home of the 5th Annual Ross Pistons NMCA
Nationals. The second stop will be at Beech Bend Raceway in
Bowling Green, Ky., which again will host the 6th Annual NOS
NMCA Nationals. National Trail Raceway near Columbus, Ohio once
more will host the 3rd Annual NMCA Nationals. After a successful
debut in 2006, the Second Annual Super Bowl of Street Legal Drag
Racing will again be held at Rt. 66 Raceway in Joliet, Ill.,
July 19-22. The event, sponsored by Motive Gear and presented by
Nitto Tire, will host the stars of the NMCA and NMRA in an
all-star event featuring an NMCA vs. NMRA shootout to conclude
the race.
New to the schedule in 2007 will be a stop at Milan Dragway,
located near Detroit. This inaugural event will be held August
17-19. The season concludes with stops at Atlanta Dragway Sept.
14-16 for the 6th Annual NMCA Nitto Tire Nationals, and Memphis,
Tenn., which will host the 6th Annual Nitto Tires NMCA World
Street Car Finals.
